July 2018 – Attorney Andrew P. Gorman successfully obtained the sum of $650,000.00 for two beneficiaries of a trust whom the Trustee sought to disinherit. This case, lasting a number of years while progressing through the Court of Appeals, concerned the “No Contest Clause” of a Trust and the Trustee’s attempt to use the clause as grounds to disinherit the beneficiaries. Precedent setting, attorney Andrew P. Gorman won at trial for our clients and then won at the Court of Appeals.
